Wendy Toulas serves as an Associate Director in the firm’s Loan Origination group. Her practice concentrates on representing various financial institutions in connection with the origination and sale of securitized (CMBS and CLO) and balance sheet commercial mortgage loans. Wendy’s practice is a national practice that covers multiple classes of real estate assets in all 50 states, including, without limitation, retail, office, mixed-use, multifamily, hotel and self-storage properties.
Prior to joining the firm, Wendy practiced commercial real estate law at a regional firm in the New York metro area for over two decades. She represented banks and other financial institutions in a variety of commercial real estate matters, including, without limitation, acquisitions, mortgage loan originations (including construction lending), and New York Industrial Development Agency transactions relating to both fee and leasehold interests in real estate across the country. Wendy also has experience representing banks and other lending institutions in loan syndications, loan on loan transactions, and loan sales and acquisitions.
