McCoy & Orta represents some of the largest commercial real estate loan servicers in the Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) industry.  The firm maintains a highly sophisticated and concentrated loan servicing practice advising primary, master and special servicers in connection with all aspects of post-securitization CMBS loan administration, including addressing issues arising from securitizations, assumptions and other complex loan servicing matters.

We have also distinguished ourselves in the capital markets industry as the only law firm with a legal department dedicated solely to providing comprehensive loan transfer services. Today, the firm serves as assignment counsel to nearly every major CMBS and CLO mortgage seller in the industry. The assignment department also serves as assignment counsel for mortgage transfers required under both warehouse line facilities repurchase (“repo”) agreements and mortgage loan sale purchase agreements.
